Running for your money

Okay, I know I have been neglecting this blog, but I have returned for a very important request.

On October 12th, I will be running (or walking!) 5K in memory of my son Benjamin. The race is being organised by and the money will go to Little Hearts Matter, the only charity in this country that supports all families with a child with a single ventricle heart condition (half a heart).

The training is going .... er.... slowly. I had to have 5 weeks off due to a bad cough, and currently am up to running 5 minutes at a time! So I've a way to go, but I WILL finish the race, whether I run, walk or crawl!
