Night 2
Exhausting but I think we're making a little progress - she really didn't cry at all to speak of, but had a long wakeful patch in the middle of the night. I don't know what time it started, but she was just awake, rolling around, mumbling and grumbling, for what seemed like hours (and therefore so was I), until she eventually fell asleep using my head as a pillow at about 3.30am. She tried to latch onto my nose and chin a few times but failed :-o ! After that, when she woke again at 5.30am, I decided that was good enough and fed her. She went back to sleep and is still there now ... as indeed all of us were till 8am when the doorbell woke us up!

You're doing good Jo, keep going and I'm sure it will all pay off xx
Thinking of you :-)
Flipping doorbells! 8am sleep-ins seem like a dream that'll never come true for me, but I don't envy you the night waking. R & A still wake regularly, but not for very long, thank goodness! Good luck for tonight!

Don't give in - you're doing great! I know exactly what you're going through - Tea didn't sleep through till she was 16 months (and I was 7 months pregnant!) It's horrid, but then she'll suddenly surprise you and one morning you'll wake up with a start and wonder what on earth is the matter - and realise you've slept the entire night through. It's the weirdest feeling ever... :)
