This made me really sad:
My Dad brings along the weekly 'Family' section of the Guardian. I've got rather behind and had a big pile of them to read, and just found this article which was in the 25th August paper. I thought it was desperately sad that it is accepted as necessary and normal to do this to such little children.

it was removed because it made no sense!
what a lovely bit of prose though
it was supposed to say
makes you realise how lucky we are that we can still do the cake-mix and rampaging down hills along with a little learning here and there.
