Should I be happy?

I really can't decide whether to be pleased or not! I had a Recorded Delivery Letter today saying I had won a holiday worth £3750! Couldn't help but be a bit excited. Got home and found it is this holiday company. We are entitled to one week's accommodation for 4 people at any of the resorts for life (but not travel). BUT we have to pay the management fee which the first year is discounted to about £275 and normally is £367.

So, in a nutshell, we have to pay (this year) £275 for a week's self-catering accommodation - any time of the year. We have to travel there at our own expense. Seeing as we always holiday in our caravan because we can't even afford a cottage holiday, I really can't tell if this is much of a bargain or not!

don't touch them Joanna! They make their money on the management fees. Google them and have a look at what other people have said about them.

especially if you google "seasons holidays scam"

yeah, sounded dodgy to me too - and I've done my fair share of sitting through timeshare presentations for the freebies to know that ...

much as I would love this to be a really good deal for you (because goodness knows you deserve something good!) it's a scam. Buy a nice BIG tent and come "self catering" in a field. Will save you lots of money over what they are offering you.

Thanks all! Have now had time to Google a great deal more and although some Seasons Holidays owners are very happy with them, I don't think it's useful for us. Will give it a miss!
