Weird
There's a boy in our HE group called Ben. I think I've mentioned this before - I found out a few months ago that his birthday is the day before or after (can't quite remember which) my Benjamin's birthday - same year. And they dropped in today to give Jade an invitation to his birthday party on Saturday. So now on my calendar I have a note which says "2.30 - Ben's party". Just as it might well have been in other circumstances. Bizarre, but OK. It's not upsetting me or anything. Just feels slightly strange.

Can imagine that feels weird in the extreme. And not upsetting, but still something that causes you to remember him again, and have all those 'what ifs' going round your mind, so have some brackets (((Jo))).
yes, I can see how it would feel very odd.
