My retirement plans...

Okay, the financial situation is dire, we need a new car, and we're up to our eyes in debt. Maybe this will be the answer to all our problems: The Rich Jerk. Whaddya think? OK, so if you click on that link and get interested too and buy it, I'll get paid! Or maybe other desperate HErs would like to club together with me and we could share it? I dunno really ....

I dunno.

I've seen a lot of that type of thing kicking around online, and I can't help thinking that while there might be one person getting rich out of it, they have to be taking money of a whole lot of ppl to do it, and there can't be that many ppl out there who will still pay? Can there?

And then another part of me thinks, what if this *is* the one guy who is telling the truth, and it's only £30...

Yeah, that's the conundrum.....!

The other thing I've noticed is that I've never seen a testimonial on one of these sites from a woman....

I didn't really understand what was on offer, but it sounds a bit like the pyramid selling schemes that abounded in the 1980s. I remember my neighbour getting stuck with a garage full of cleaning fluid. What were you thinking of with it?

I do wonder why, if he's so rich and making so much money doing nothing, he's bothering to collect those measly forty-five dollars each time.

Well, firstly it might all be faked, and he's not actually rich at all (yet), but even if he is, you know nobody ever thinks they have enough ... they just start comparing themselves to a different peer group and feel the lack....
