Foul

Yesterday was horrible, I am being foul, I am weepy and fed-up, I hate this house and the tattiness of it, I hate my messiness, I hate all the 'making-do' which means that nothing technical is straightforward and I hate that my children just demand, demand, demand taking no account of the fact that I am feeling fragile.

Mostly brought on by tiredness, I suspect. Shannon has had me awake so much in the past couple of nights that I need some IV caffeine, I think.

Also brought on by going to someone else's beautiful house. No, not beautiful - stunning! And they're home-edders, but somehow without all the associated mess that normally goes along with it. Maybe because of the au-pair

Well, I suppose I'd better get us all dressed to go out to an HE group weaving session. Better than staying home being grouchy all day.

I find visiting people with lovely big tidy houses can be a double-edged sword some times - you go there and have a lovely time, then come home and the contrast hits you hard.

I know what you mean. Hope you get more sleep soon. Bob.

Hiya ,
maybe I should email you some pictures to make you feel totally in company :)
I so know how you feel! how do some people make it all seem so easy? . . . if only it could be as quick to get rid of a mess as it is to create it !

Hope you feel better today. Take it this means that the sleep training isn't going well? and you have my sympathies with the messy house - I was close to throwing all the dirty dishes in the bin this morning and buying paper ones.....

aarrgghhh,
I know how you feel (perhaps). I am thinking my house has improved so much for the last 8 weeks with our new rota, but my eldest is moving down south for a few months and the whole system will collapse.
and anyway, I'll go and try to post a picture of my new improved house .... perhaps it'll reassure you (as you'll be wondering what it could have been like before).
((((support))))
best wishes
